Chitalnyata"Chitalnyata" is a tourist information point, a modern city reading room, located in the City Garden in Sofia. "Chitalnyata" is developed by the "Association of Urban Reading Rooms" in partnership with the Municipal Enterprise "Tourism" of the Metropolitan Municipality. At its heart is the idea of creating a new, modern reading room in the center of Sofia, which will be an attractive public environment for reading and exchanging books. A cozy place to inspire the love for books in the urban environment on a daily basis.
All titles available for borrowing can be checked in the electronic catalog, and in order to increase and renew the book collection, the "Chitalnyata" gladly accepts donations of various books.
A reader's card is only issued against a donation of at least one book, and for convenience there is also a list of titles from which everyone can choose what to bring. After receiving the reader's card, readers can borrow books on a library basis to take home, in the park or on site.
