Serdika Tulip on Knyaginya Maria Luiza Blvd.
If you walk in the area of Central Halls, it is worth looking around - a lot of mood streams of graphite Serdika Tulip, which decorated one of the facades in the parking lot next to MS Serdika. It occupies a total of 200 square meters in the form of a beautiful female face holding a tender tulip.
Why a tulip? In fact, the initiative to create it came from the Dutch embassy. Through art, our capital is a symbol of friendly relations between the two countries.
The duo Arsek & Erase (Zhelyo Dimitrov and Georgi Dimitrov), who are one of our most recognizable graffiti artists, have made sleeves for the realization, making modern murals on the art map from the USA and China to Russia and Taiwan.
At the heart of the composition next to the beautiful girl is illustrated a special variety of tulip "Serdika", named after the idea of the Dutch Embassy in the ancient city, which today stands on Sofia.
Curious about graffiti:
When creating graffiti, terms and phrases have been created to describe the different styles and aspects of graffiti, as well as which category it falls into. Like jargon, some phrases vary in different cities and countries. Almost all are invented in English. These terms most often come from the United States.
